Tell me a Story..








Tell me a story under the Gulmohar tree,
Let the breeze carry the colors free.

Tell me a story under the Kadamba tree,
Let the Flute of Kanha encircle me.

Tell me a story by the Parijat tree, the 
pretty flowers will adorn me.

Slowly i drink my cup of tea, softly
it whispers 'Lean on me'

Kacchi Kelaychi Phodyo

This is a simple fritter made when we GSB do not eat Fish or meat its called Shivrak which means eating only vegetarian food .

Kacchi Kelaychi Phodyo simply translates into Raw Banana Fritters 

Ingredients 

2 raw Bananas
1/4 cup Suji /Rava
1/1/2 tbsp Red Chilly powder ( as per your level)
1/4 Haldi
1/4 Asafoetida /Hing
Salt as per taste
Oil to shallow fry we use Pure Cold pressed Coconut Organic Oil.

Method

Scrape the banana of the skin , first cut is 1 into 2 and then medium slices in oblong
( like the banana red chilly chips look)
In a plate take the Suji add the chilly powder , Haldi, Salt and the Hing powder mix well

Keep a Tawa /Pan once it is Hot put it on simmer. Coat each slices with this mixture and place it on the tawa , add oil so that the fritters are roasted properly .To know that they are done , poke a knife and if it easily goes through then it is done .

Enjoy with Sol Kadhi and Rice or even with Dal Rice.

TIP  : Keep the sliced Banana slices in water all the time or they will turn black.
