Love - Illusion?

In my previous posts i did say the Feeling of being in love , this is a sequel to it .
Though i like the feeling of being in love i have always failed .
So Speculation are permitted and below is my conclusions ...


Paulo Cohelo : Aptly put this in his book 'Brida'

"But how will i know who my soulmate is ? " Brida felt that this was one of the most important questions she had ever asked in her life ." ( so do i feel )
By Taking risks , She said to Brida , By risking Failures , dissapointment disiilusion, but never ceasing in your search fro Love . As long as you keep looking , you will triumph in the end."

Right,  yes i understand so i shared i still like the feeling of being in love .

Then why do i fail in it ..

1. Maybe it is the curse of a sizable men who i rejected.
2. Being an independent single women for a long time ( coz girls get married off in their 20's) and i am in the BIG 40's .
3. Without any prejudice i know i have enough ammunation to hold a man's attention, don't we woman know that its an inborn quality.
4. Maybe i am not the "typical damsel in distress" material . who wants a hand to get up or hold hands when crossing a street by having a petrified expression on ones's face -uff
5. Buying undue gifts and ok with the Man being smelly and not doing the usual hygenie
boss i am particular about that if i wax my legs and feet and use a good body lotion and wash and condtion my hair and use lovely expensive perfumes which i believe is the basic , why can't my guy do the same .
6. Don't fall all over him as though am sex starved , am a bit old fashioned need to be seranaded , romanced till i reach that stage .. Do i need to labled from another era ..

The list can be endless , but the bottom line is am still waiting . Its difficult mind you as 75% thinks i maybe married and 'settled' hate the word . The other half who really really like are married and so called 'Settled' .

So that leaves me too wait for my Prince who can have a chink in his Armour but still a Prince :)
