           Special Appearance: Farhan Akhtar.

Movie: Dil Dhadakne Do

Plot: Rich, Affluent Punjabi Family in Dilli who will do anything for being on the right side. Mr. Mehra (Anil Kapoor) and Mrs. Mehra ( Shefali Shah) their children Beta (Ranveer Singh)  and Beti ( Priyanka Chopra ).Beti is married to Rahul Bose  (Damaad). Mehra’s 30th Anniversary is celebrated on a cruise for 10days they call all the elite friends and relation. Sr. Mehra wants his Beta getting married to Mr. Sood (Parmeet Sethi) daughter Noorie ( Riddhima Sood) , who in turn loves Rana ( Vikram Massey )who is the son of Sood’s rival Priyanka is miserable in her marriage and seeks divorce , I comes Sunny (Farhan Akhtar ) her teenage crush . And Ranveer falls for Anushka the spirited dancer, how the drama unfolds on the relations is what the movie s about . Important is this drama is told by Pluto (the handsome dog) voiced by Aamir Khan.

Much cannot be told about the movie as then there will be nothing left to entertain on the screen.

What I liked:

Ø The cast which are perfect for the role .

Ø The dialogues and some scene which are so surreal

Ø The catchy tunes , music is a plus point

Ø The lavish settings and travels.

Ø Pluto the handsome Dog, we can actually see expression on his face.

What didn’t agree with me

Ø Lengthy movie  , not that I noticed it much

Ø Zarina Wahab a beautiful actress of yesteryear is so expressionless

Ø Rahul Bose was one time my crush, but in this movie he is so so stone faced.

Review : The House that BJ Built by Anuja Chauhan

Book: The House that BJ Built

Author: Anuja Chauhan

Publisher: Westland Books

Genre: Drama

Pages: 410

This is a sequel to the book ‘Those Pricey Thakur Girls “ .

Main Theme :  Rich family staying on Hailey Road Delhi , known for their show offs and extravaganza in everything they do , a story of the five girls the relations , the property dispute , the first book is focused on Debjani Thakur her career as a newsreader and her love for Dylan Shekhawat, sprinkled with relationship feuds between LN Thakur ( Laxmi Narayan Thakur ) called BJ by his daughters BJ ( Bhau ji ) who is a retired Judge  and Ashok Thakur who is the once upon a time handsome dude who has all the vices and prominently womanizer , and his wife Chachiji whose description sends Goosebumps , everything about her is ugly , but the LN Thakur girls like her.

About book : Plot  :  It’s no mystery book , as I said a Drama , the regular Delhite rich people story , In this book the children have grown , Samar the stepson of Anjini the eldest daughter is Hottie Director from Bollywood , Binni the 3rd sister is dead survived by her only  daughter Bonita Singh Rajawat, who is presently staying in the house with BJ who is old , the main theme is selling the house and dividing equally among the Five sisters, which BJ  tells Samar to do on his deathbed, the whole drama enfolds on this background. Remember ‘Steesh’ & BJ’s youngest daughter Eshwari? Now they have grown and Satish Sridhar is a hot builder in town, Eshwari is an NRI visiting and still single. And of course the growing attraction between Samar and Bonita called Bonu. And Gulgul who becomes a lawyer and fights for his Father the womanizer Ashok Chachaji who puts in a case on LN Thakur .All this is woven and we get the story.

Strong Points:

Ø  Easy flow with simple English language.

Ø  Catches your attention till the end as basically we like gossips.

Ø  The Humor sprinkled in with savory Indian Gallis

Ø  Eshu and Steesh romance is very well captured; some more could have been welcomed.

Weak Points:

Ø  Bonu Singh does not sound as woman Samar can actually love

Ø  She comes out as a typical silver bangles and payal wearer chamakchalo

Ø  Chandu and her family is lost in this

Ø  Anjini husband is not mentioned at all, what’s happened to him?

Life is an Art ..

I think everything in life is an art

What you do, how you dress

The way you love someone

And how you talk, your smile

And your personality, what you

Believe in, and all your dreams

The way you drink your tea

How you decorate your home

Or party, your grocery list, the food you make

How your writing looks and the way you feel

Your patience to wait ,,

Loving the silence

Polishing your attitude and basking on its glories

Finally Ego ruling your heart.. Is a Master ART

Simple …

Life is an art
